The second review saw the branding process, the basic story form the client side which is to reflect from the brand identity, concepts/inspiration/motivations and development of visual Identity for Ecoserve.
The panel felt i had explored quite a few options. We sat through the options and narrowed down from the options selected by the client and reasoned which work and which don't. I still have a lot of work in finalizing the details of the logo, but the panel was of the opinion that it is a matter of taking a 2-3 options and completing the branding exercise. I was advised to make an exhaustive list of the further application of the Identity so that i can make a check list of deliverables that suit my client's needs and that can fit with my project timeline. I was asked to immediately start work on ideas for the collaterals and give the core identity a rest for a fews days so that i can return to it with fresh perspective and attend to its finer details.
My panel was kind enough to put together their thoughts about the review session too.

Sneha has worked extensively in the last four weeks since we last met, on her logo/symbol design for Ecoserve. She has gone over numerous possibilities with form, concept and color. She will be working towards zeroing in on the final form/concept for her logo based on all the work she has put in over the next week. We also discussed the possibility of her creating an exhaustive list of collaterals including stationary, brand identity manual, brochure etc. A suggestion was made to look at applications of the logo/symbol design through collaterals which would convey the concept of the company, rather than creating collaterals for the sake of having to do so."

We pointed out a couple of other options that we liked and asked her to pick three to take forward and to take a break from the logo design for a couple of days, focus on the collaterals and then get back to the logo. When selecting the logo she was asked to keep the brief in mind. |
